In Resource Manager, how can I add time for contractors that I rarely use?
We have Contractors that we need to enter time on projects. Some of these contractors are used maybe 4 or 5 times a year.
I haven't found a way to add time for non-licensed users. But I don't want to burn a license just for 4 or 5 time entries in a year.
Anyone found a good way to do this without having a bunch of unused licenses?

Hi Matt,
Your contractors could be granted access to the sheet for collaboration, but signed up as a Free User.
From SmartSheet:
Free users (Unlicensed Users and Free Collaborators) are important participants in collaborating on the work you manage in Smartsheet. Free users can view, edit, and update sheets and reports within the platform and can be shared to unlimited sheets. Creating, owning, administering, or driving a process, program, or project in Smartsheet requires a paid license.

I hope you're well and safe!
Some of my clients have a bank of generic licenses (Contractor 1, Contractor 2..) using them for different contractors or similar.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

To add to Matt's question, I have a team of 20 designers and I have a Smartsheet template set up to track each projects, but not at a time level. However, I would like to track their time on a project on a more granular level (i.e. how many hours did they work on a project). Does anybody know with Resource Management, would the designer need a RM license to input their time or would they just input their time in the Smartsheet that I created?

Hi @Katrina_27
On licensed users in Resource Management can track time, see: Resource Management: User licenses and subscriptions
