Update Request Workflow - with dropdown options



Is there a way to include a drop down functionality in an update request workflow. I have a sheet to track defects in products made in the workshop. We have 4 production departments so the first question is "which department caused the error ?" then depending on if it was department A, B, C or D this should flow to "what was the cause of the error? ". We have 8 different reasons in each department. So I want to avoid a single drop down box with 4x8 = 32 reason codes. I know i could do this with 2 separate workflows but i would like to avoid that.
