Automated Project Phases in Resource Management?
We currently have resource management tied to our Smartsheet Core project plans. We have parent rows that indicate phases in the project. When I go into create a project, it seems like there's no way to have the project phases line up with Smartsheet Core unless I manually create each project phase for each project on Resource Management.
Is there a way around this? Or would we just have to create some sort of function in a sheet summary in the project plan that indicates which project "phase" we are in based on the completion of the project or the current date in comparison to the start and end dates?

Hi @NickSeier
You are correct, currently Resource Management Phases aren't supported through the panel integration with a Smartsheet sheet.
The idea of a formula in a Sheet Summary field to indicate the "phase" makes sense to me - if you need help with the formula please feel free to post in the Formulas topic here in the Community.
If you have a moment, please also submit your feature request to the Product team, requesting to include Phases, by creating an Idea Post in the Smartsheet Product Feedback and Ideas topic. This will allow other users to vote on your enhancement idea!
Cheers,
Genevieve

I have the same issue. I was thinking an additional column to specify the name of a phase that should be allocated in Resource Management.
I see there is an idea in the Feedback and Ideas section: Tasks from Smarsheet should be syncable to Phases created in RM, or at least movable to them — Smartsheet Community
Seems to be on the same track.
