My name is Regina and I work for a multi-hospital system in the great state of Georgia! My job title is Accreditation Specialist, so I work closely with our accrediting body and our staff to ensure we provide safe (and the best!) care to our patients. I was handed Smartsheet about a year ago from one of our senior leaders, and until recently, I was learning by jumping into the deep end. I just completed my Core badge and I am now preparing for the Core Product Certification exam. I'm a little nervous about it because formulas and I have historically never gotten along, so I'm hoping that will change soon!
I use Smartsheet to complete walkthrough tracers within our hospitals. We use the form to capture findings (with photos) and make assignments for completion. I have also automated my updates and late notices. We have also used Smartsheet to run our command center during survey (no more group texts!) and coordinate our findings. This replaced a cumbersome system of sending emails back and forth with the original word document. It's so much easier to have everything in one place and know that you are always looking at the most updated information.
I haven't delved into project management at this point. I'm not sure if it would be appropriate for what I use Smartsheet for, but I'm hoping to learn more as I go.
