RM -I have noticed that in SCHEDULE view (by WEEK) view, the month portion of the date is truncated.

Yes, you are correct. If the start of the week is the same month as the end of the week, then the month does not show for the start. When the Start and End dates have different months (such as your 6/26 - 7/2) then both months will show.
