Stacked column for two dimensional view, combining 2 groups in one column

We would like to be able to see in one stacked column/bar the combination of two data groupings... ex first category group (=name column) with as subgroup phase mentioning for the items in this category (stacked items in the column by category). Currently not possible to see this in the chart widgets. Solution offered is to add Report Widget to show grouping but this is not good enough as visual.

Fully support this. It would be very helpful to see for example bar charts for the main categories and colours within each bar for sub-categories.

I've done quite a few different things with stacked columns in charts. You wouldn't happen to have some sort of mock up or something to help me visualize what you're trying to accomplish would you?

Sheet Icon Color Consistency
