We have provisioned 30+ projects using Control Center and have set the Project Dashboard as the Project link launch sheet. Is there a way to get it to use the published to anyone with link url rather than the default?

Hi @Randy B CDN, if I'm following you, you're asking if the display text for the dashboard hyperlink can be changed from the default?

If so, unless something has changed in the past 12 months (when we had Control Center implemented) the answer we got from our consultant team when I asked during project phase was it wasn't possible. My preference would have been to replace the URL with the text 'Dashboard', so we had something short but meaningful for use in reports, etc.

While it's not a workaround as such, we created a workflow that notifies our Control Center Leads when a project has been successfully provisioned with a message to have them jump into the Demand Management sheet and update the display text for that project's dashboard link.

We made the decision recently to move away from the ad-hoc nature of this workflow to a weekly one (which runs on Monday morning, aligning with our reporting cadence):

Obviously having the ability to set this in the blueprint configuration would be preferred but this approach works for us and isn't a huge time-drain.

Thanks for the quick response. I was pretty sure it was not possible in CC so I was going to do a manual replacement of the url with the publish url. Not sure if I can automate that but a good exercise to try.

Apologies, I think I answered a slightly different question. I'm following you now. I had a chat with a few folks here who have Control Center implemented in their teams and they looked into replacing the default URL with the publish link and haven't found a way to do it other than adopting the approach my team has of being notified of a newly-provisioned project "needing URL attention".
