Hi all,
I've received an update from the Product team regarding this Idea and have changed the Status - posting it again here as a comment for visibility:
Supporting solutions that scale is a core premise of why we are rearchitecting our views from the ground up. Scale and performance improvements are a critical feature of the new table view which will first be released as part of the Early Adopter’s Program in coming months!
If you're not a part of the Early Adopter's Program, here's more information:

@Genevieve P. that is fantastic to hear that there is finally an update. Are you able to provide some more insight into the timing. I see you noted this would be released in the coming months. A lot of us are sitting at the edge of our seats waiting for this. Do you know if those updates are Expected in Q3 or Q4 2024 ?
We are looking at needing to break up data between quarters unless this increase can happen SOON! We have a large sheet 200+ columns, so we max our rows quickly.
Is there ANY news yet on timing of this MUCH needed increase in limits? Everyone needs it and without it, may have to find other systems to support large amounts of data.
Has anyone heard of a timeline of a release? We are holding our breath hoping we can use it for upcoming tools that are to be built…but we can only wait so long.
I'm not sure a "new table view" is the solution that we're looking for on this
Would like to see Smartsheet increase the cell count limits to allow for large projects. The column max is 400, row max is 20K. Why is the cell count not equal to 8,000,000 to allow for the sheet row and column max?
Is there a timeline to increase row limits? Reducing my ability to use Smartsheet and will push users into a MS solution
The sheet row limit is extremely frustrating - if it could be increased to 100k rows per sheet this would transform and hugely simplify our operations - currently we are operating across 25 sheets hosting our main datasets, with more than 30 sheets in use to support the operations in those sheets, it is mind boggling!
And how about increasing the report limit as well as of now it is only 2500 rows we desperately need it to be at least 25,000 rows.
So glad this is on the road map! We frequently max out sheets and rely heavily on archive sheets.

Approaching the 1yr mark since the limit increase was announced…. How's it looking Smartsheet devs?
Conference is next month, there certainly won't be an update announcement before then.
Are there any updates on potential release?
