When will printing grouped reports be allowed?
This is a game changer for us, and we are sitting idle. We are examining other software that allows this functionality. This is critical for adapting to our changing business environments.
This seems basic. I know it's not. Are there any updates?

To make it even worse, they disable to ability to go to the browser print option to print the web page.
It embarrasses me personally when my boss asks for a printed report and the grouping is gone and it is no longer useful information when printed. It's a hot mess.

WOW! I've just tried to print a report and realized that the 'groupings' do not translate through to 'print' - as stated above.
Does Smartsheet plan to release this functionality? Soon?

I don't have an update for if or when Grouping in Reports will be printable, but you can surface your feedback to the Product team by adding your vote and a comment onto this Product Idea thread: Provide users with the ability to Print a Grouped Report
As an alternative in the meantime, you can add a grouped report to a dashboard which then can print and export with the included groupings.

Is the problem with printing grouped reports ever going to be addressed or a legitimate work around suggested? I have one report that's short enough (<500 rows) to print as a dashboard, and when viewing the dashboard I can see the conditional formatting from the report. When I print the dashboard, the conditional formatting is lost. Seems you lose key functionality no matter what. Hard to get off the starting block to onboard others with this software when it trips you up on printing something.
