Barcode and Checkboxes
Hello
Looking for some assistance, we have started using Barcodes to track our orders and currently use the barcode reader to locate single order within the SS app. Each order has several checkpoint to hit: Printed, Staged, Build Start, QC, Build Complete, Shipped.
Ideally looking for the employee to scan the barcode from the order then scan a 'Staged' Barcode and it checks the Staged box in the Sheet and so on
Hopefully someone might be able to assist.
Thanks

Using the barcode scanner to submit a form means each stage will be its own row. You would need the forms to populate a separate sheet then use a formula on the checkbox sheet with cross sheet references to automatically check the boxes when appropriate.
=IF(COUNTIFS({Form Sheet Barcode Column}, @cell = KOM@row, {Form Sheet Checkpoint Barcode Column}, @cell = barcode_for_checkpoint)> 0, 1)

Hi Paul
Thank you for the reply, it's been one hell of a day and I'm not following completely.

I may have misunderstood. When you say you are locating a single order within the SS App using the barcode scanner, exactly what are you doing? Are you using it as a search feature, or are you using it to submit a form?

Using the search feature within the SmartSheet itself.

So basically using CTRL+F and then entering a barcode number? Then you want to be able to scan a barcode for the stage and have it check the box in the appropriate column?
