Project Form - repeating row
I have a project sheet that contains the overall project name as the parent row and the smaller tasks are in child rows. I've created a form to make data entry easier for our team. Is there a way I can make the form repeat the question that asks for the smaller tasks information used in the child row?
I'm assuming I will need to indent child rows once they come in but if there is an automated method for this, that would be great.
Thanks, Melissa

To make sure I understand... You need your users to submit a form for a parent row and then they will also need to submit multiple forms for the child rows?

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
Here's an easy solution. It doesn't create the Parent/Child automatically, but it's possible to do that too.
- I developed a solution using two forms (or the same form by using conditional logic) that can be used to submit the main information and then the other information on a new row for each submission after the first.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

@Paul Newcome - Yes, that is what I would like to do. The essential part is having the child rows repeat which I could have users submit a new entry each time but wanted to see if there was a better way.

"having the child rows repeat"
Does this mean the child rows are always the same and it is just the parent row data that changes?
I'm sure we can come up with a solution (using the below as a base) if you also needed custom child rows, but if the child rows are always the same, I recently developed the method below:
