Error when sharing "smart" sheet with someone

This is the most ridiculous error I've ever seen in my life.

If you share a sheet with someone but make a mistake while writing their email, "smart"sheets won't let you send it to the corrected email address. It will autocorrect to the email where you made a mistake.

How could you make a mistake so simple and didn't anticipate that this would be a trouble?

It's so frustrating and ridiculous. I'm telling my company to stop using this app

I've never had this issue, and I have accidentally shared to an email with a typo. Are you able to provide more details as to exactly what steps you are taking and what exactly is happening?
