Multiple Date Ranges within the Same Row
From what I read this is still not an option with Smartsheet.
I would also like to have multiple date ranges within the same row. I would like to be able to look at a project (start to finish) but also like to see Section A, Section B, and Section C date ranges within that project on the same gantt chart row.
I currently have a report and dashboard of all my projects. The gantt chart shows the start and finish of the overall project. However, my projects are broken up into 3 sections, Feasibility, Product Development, and Design Transfer. I would like to see all these sections within the same row.
Similarly, I would like this view in the Calendar App.
Is this possible? Is there work to make this available?

Hi @KSeaman
No, this is not currently possible in Smartsheet. Each row is associated with one Start and End date to show in the Gantt view.
I would suggest that you vote on this related Product Idea but I see you've already added a comment! Thank you.

I would like this feature as well! So many of my project items start and stop multiple times. Smartsheets really needs to incorporate this

************* PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE TO PLOT MULTIPLE DATA POINTS ON SAME ROW!! THIS IS A MAKE OR BREAK DECISION FOR ME TO USE SMARTSHEET AT A FORTUNE 10 COMPANY. (This feature will allow more condensed view on a one pager executive summary). Thank you!!!

Please add this feature to add multiple date ranges on the same row. This is key to creating our production calendar without having to entry multiple rows in a separate sheet.

Agree with other comments on this topic. The ability to add multiple dates on the same row is critical to much of my business need and the lack of this feature is hindering my ability to produce the work as needed efficiently.

Agreeing with everything that's been said - I just found this thread while researching the topic to solve a similar problem. Adding extra rows to account for each set of dates blew up a sheet from 19 rows to a whopping 76 😓
