How can I use logic with a hidden field?

I have a dropdown field named "Survey Type". I have 1 survey that differs slightly based on the Survey Type (72 Hours & Post-Discharge). I am passing the survey type parameter through a URL & I want to hide the question & use logic on the field to determine the available questions for the survey. However, I can not seem to pass the parameter to the field because it has logic. Is this a limitation of Smartsheet or is there a way to do this... I guess I could always create two surveys but I'd rather not.

It looks like you're trying to use the column names in your Form URL, but since you've changed the Label for the question you'll need to use the label instead.

For example:

https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/9af0266b7bf74310bf911390185a0b1a?Is%20this%20feedback%20at%2072%20hour%20after%20admission%20OR%20at%20discharge?%20(72%20hours,%20Post%20discharge)=72%20HOURS

Does that make sense?

For sure. If I remove the logic from the field, the parameter is passed through but with the logic in place, nothing happens.
