How to send a generated document as an attachment

Hello,

I do a weekly audit in SmartSheet and I've created a generated document for it. Is there a way to set-up a trigger that, once a threshold is met in the form it sends an email to selected people and attaches the generated document to the email? Right now I can only get it to add the document in the Smartsheet.

    Attachments on rows will only be sent with the email alert if the attachment is the Trigger for the alert (or is attached at the exact same time as the trigger). See: Selecting what’s included in an alert or request 



    What I would personally do in this instance is set up an Alert workflow with the trigger being when an Attachment is added:



    This would mean you'd need to generate the document in a separate workflow, when your threshold is met. Does that make sense?
