Automation of responses from one form onto a second form?

I'm developing a skills competency checklist using 2 forms to collect info (1) self-assessment for staff to check-off skills and (2) Validation/Assessment from preceptor to check and sign-off that skills were validated. Is there a way to set up logic that auto populates responses from the first form onto the second form so that preceptor knows who and what skills they are validating? Or is there another method to set up a form that can be shared between multiple people for this skills validation/audit? Please advise and thank you!

You have a few options.

If you have access to Dynamic View, that would be my preferred method.

Another option is to send an update request to the preceptor.

Finally There are a number of posts here in the community regarding "prefill form" and "form url". Basically you will need to use a formula in a field to create a unique URL on each row which the preceptor would use to open the pre-filled form. the below should help get you started.
