PowerBi Question - Hidden "Helper" Columns
Hello,
I use helper columns in my compliance sheets that are used to trigger notifications when action is needed. Normally, as a best practice, those columns are hidden since they are not needed by the business.
I need to create a centralized dashboard for my department and will be pulling in data from different data sources and PowerBi is the best platform. Columns that are hidden can put be pulled in. Are there any suggestions on how to tackle this?

I'm not sure if you meant to say can or can't when talking about Power BI pulling in hidden columns.
I use Power BI, and it pulls in the hidden columns automatically.
If you're not talking about being able to pull in hidden columns, please clarify what you asking for suggestions to tackle.

Thank you @Ray Lindstrom. I'll look again into the settings. Previously, an error message that columns not found was triggering.
