I am most thankful for Work Apps. I am quickly able to share information with the right parties and give different rights to different user groups. It is fantastic for our manufacturing facility, having different levels of permissions depending on job title.

My current favorite, Thankful for, item in Smartsheet is the Dashboard feature to create a portal for my project teams. As an early adopter of Smartsheet in my organization, I'm continuing to consider ways to make our Project Management System easy to use for change resistant project managers. The system has to be easy to access and update if it's going to be used at all. I'm currently researching and testing out various formats of Dashboards for Project Portals.

Thankful for the ability to comment and collaborate with other smartsheet users directly from rows on a sheet. On the surface this feature is simplistic however the ability to quickly direct questions, updates, and alerts to team members directly referenced to a specific work item is crucial in not only keeping communication prompt and immediate but also documenting the conversation for future reference if needed by the group.

Control Center. It allows me to setup complex programs for my users that I don't have to constantly monitor or make updates to. It has been a lifesaver.

I LOVE Forms and Update Requests! I'm a big data nerd and nothing frustrates me more than dirty data. Being able to use forms and update requests to filter user input into sheets really helps keep the data clean and organized and minimizes the collaborator count.

I would have to say I am most thankful for would be formulas (specifically =INDEX, MATCH). This has cut back on me having to enter the SAME data in many places, without worrying about "breaking" my formula the way I would with a VLOOKUP after making any improvements to my sheets.

I just love the dashboard feature! Anything I do in the backend with all the organizational data, the real magic happens when that gets showcased on a live dashboard in front of all the stakeholders. I love their awestruck faces when they look at all the pictographically presented data on the dashboard where everything just springs to life and shows them the valuable information that they need to see. I feel rewarded for all of my hard work just by their applaud of these dashboards. My manager calls me a superstar for making these amazing dashboards but my gratitude is towards the tool.

I would say everything, but since you ask for one, I think I would have to go with the newer designed templates. I think it is an awesome feature to have your entire sheet, reports and dashboard all built for you so you can just save it, start working and share it with whomever is needed. This saves me so much time not having to build it out for the users in my org.
