How to convert information from a Vertical View to a Horizontal View

Hi! I am looking for some assistance. I have a PTO tracker that colleagues fill in with their Paid Time Off and In Office/Work from Home days. I would like to be able to take that information (that is laid out in a Vertical view and put it in a horizontal view (please see below). I have attempted to link cells, but there is no way to link cells vertically to horizontally without doing each individual cell and that would be linking over 11 thousand cells manually. Any thoughts on how can achieve this easily? Thanks!

Is there a reason why you are trying to place it vertical?

Anyhow, you can do this, but you will need a helper column in first sheet you have posted. Please create a column, you can call it namedate, or whatever you want. All you'll do is create a column formula for that column, =name@row + date@row. So you will get Colleague 102/04/24 in that column for line 2.

Once you have that, you will NEED to update your dates in the second sheet to match the date scheme of your first sheet, so you will need to change 2/4/24 to be 02/04/24, etc.

Once you have that done, here are your notes.

{range 1} is the column of namedate

{range 2} is the column Work Schedule

formula would be =INDEX({range 2}, MATCH([Colleague Name]@row + [Column3]2, {range 1},0))

The only issue I see is if you drag it out it won't auto populate and you'll need to set it up for each cell.

Thank you. It worked, but it seems it would just be easier to link the cells. I appreciate the assistance though.
