Will a new Smartsheet saved with the name of a Source Sheet still work with DataMesh?

Looking to save some time by replacing old information within a Source Sheet with information housed within another Smartsheet. Can I relabel the original source sheet to an obsolete name and save the new Smartsheet with the source sheet's name and keep all the connections working with DataMesh?

Hi @SPHSSU

If you rename a sheet, DataMesh will still stay connected to that particular sheet. (I believe it actually uses the Sheet ID from the Properties menu to make connections, so that it doesn't break if a name is updated).

However this means that for your use-case, you would need to build out a new DataMesh configuration using your new sheet as the source or destination since it won't automatically map to a sheet with the same name.
