Sync Smartsheet Calendar with Outlook Calendar

I am looking for the latest and greatest training information regarding how to sync your SmartSheet calendar with your outlook calendar. If anyone can help, please let me know.

Hi Allison,

You can publish your sheet to your Outlook Calendar which is read-only by going into your sheet, click publish on the right and side and click on for the calendar.

@Allison Bishop You can switch to the Calendar View and then from the toolbar click on the calendar icon to generate iCal url so that you can sync that to Outlook, Apple, or other calendars (Use the last option in that publish options)

Thank you, but how to you sync it to show each individual date column as a separate calendar entry. Currently, it is showing me the information in the gantt type view? I tried creating a report for each date, but there is no option to sync a report to my outlook calendar. Should I create another sheet that will pull the needed date field from the current sheet?

Hi!

My team and I were able to subscribe to the calendar, but the calendar stoped syncing. Things that are changed in the sheet are not updating in the outlook calendar. When we try to delete and re-add it, a nameless calendar shows up without populating in the "other calendar" folder.

My team is having the same issue as Jenna and Paula- we have subscribed to Smartsheet calendars, but they are not syncing properly, where only some of the events are populating in Outlook, but not more recently added ones.

Is there a setting somewhere for how frequently the sync happens?

I am also having trouble syncing between Smartsheet and Outlook.

Same here, pulling a smartsheet calendar into Outlook on the web and eventually the Outlook application does not work past initial import. Smartsheet does not push new data to Microsoft.

Same sync issues as the rest. Really sucks as I promised my team the .ics link subscription would keep things updated - when will there be a fix?
