linking rows across different sheets
Ok this one seems to be a little more advanced of a question, once a row is copied to another sheet is there a way to link the the copied row to original row so that whatever changes are made to the copy also happen to the original row. lengthy description below with screen clips.
the first screen clip is the master list with a drop down box. when the selection "SDR" is selected the row copies to a different sheet for detailing (2nd screen clip). detailing completes their task and selects "submitted" I am trying figure out how make that selection update on the master list. a similar occurrence will also happen when "release" is selected and the row again copied to a completely different sheet in the production shop and once the job is complete and at the selection of "Invoiced" is selected how to make the original row within the master list update with all added information and attachments.
Thanks in advance and if there is any additional information need please do not hesitate to ask and I will answer to the best of my ability.

@FabharChris - I am eager for the powers to be to provide the answer on this one, I've attempted the same. The only solution I found is to use index/match for updating fields directly on the original sheet or to create a report that updates the original sheet instead of copying to another sheet. In the report, I restricted viewing access to individual users, as multiple people had access and I wanted them to see and update only their data. While this approach works well for this specific scenario, I am concerned about the potential for end users to see other data. Given that multiple people have access, there is always a risk if someone changes the filtering data.

Hi @FabharChris
I hope you're well and safe!
Is it only the Status you want to be updated when it changes in the other sheet?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week & Happy Holidays!

@Andrée Starå the status would be helpful as I could use automation triggers from that point but I am also looking for attachments to also transfer to originating worksheet as well.
