Time & Fee Categories for Managed Resources

Apparently, you cannot apply a category to a task on a Managed Resource. This is because you cannot change their time sheet for them. This is lame because you can actually set their allocation in Smartsheet or RM Schedule to get them an automated time sheet for a project, but you cannot apply a category, even if you have checked the 'Require category entry when entering time' in Account Settings. This needs to be an added capability.
