Is there a way to dynamically update the "list" in the Dropdown List column type?
The use case is an application process with reviewers who will log their reviews. There will be multiple reviews per applicant. Applicants apply through a form in one sheet. The reviewers need to prepare their reviews in a different sheet through a for. Or, at least that is how it is set up right now. Ideally, the reviewer form will have a field "Applicant" with a dropdown list that captures the applicant names available in the first different sheet.

Hi @swfascetti
I hope you're well and safe!
A solution that would be perfect for this use-case is the premium add-on, Data Shuttle.

Is that an option?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend & Happy New Year!

Excellent!
Happy to help!
In my client solutions, I usually create a Master List where all options for all different dropdown lists live, get updated, and then pushed out to all other sheets.
Have a look here.

Hello @swfascetti!
This is possible but requires use of the API, so if you know how to code you can implement this yourself.
My consulting company School of Sheets has developed a solution to create and manage dynamic DropDowns, and we can implement this. If you'd like to learn more please email me at dan@schoolofsheets.com.
You might be able to solve this creatively with some type of copy row automation and/or MAX() function to get the applicant names in front of the reviewers and then use an update request to send out a form with the applicant name, but that would likely be a pretty significant re-architecture and process change.

@Andrée Starå - yes, data shuttle is an option. I see some information in the data shuttle help pages and is just learning DS, still a bit unsteady with it. Any way to get started with this feature? I've used DS to create data tables and to pull in new or updated information into standard workflows. Thanks so much! -- Sara
