Control Center and Contact Columns

I am using control center to create projects. In the sheet that gets provisioned, I have my resources listed. I want to bring the "Lead" contact back into the Intake sheet, but it is coming back as just text and not an actual Contact. We use the Current User view for project updates, which won't work this way. Any ideas on workarounds for this?!

Have you ensured that the Profile data is added to the contact column? You can then reference it in the Description column to show the name.

@Andrée Starå I'm not bringing the contact in from the intake sheet. It is being created in the individual project sheet and being sent back to the intake sheet.

Yes, but they still have to be contact columns and also the same type. Are they both contact columns?
