Dynamic View - Attachment Versioning

Hi There,

Trying to figure out how the versioning function for attachments work in Smartsheet.

I'm trying to move our consultants out of Smartsheet and into Dynamic View to prevent anyone from inadvertently adjusting anything in the Master (source sheet). I can understand them not being able to DELETE an attachment, but I'm not sure why the versioning of an attachment wouldn't work the same as in the source sheet.

Any assistance or workarounds without having to give them access to the Source Sheet, which is what I thought Dynamic View was suppose to help.

There currently isn't a way to upload an attachment to Dynamic View and have it be a new "version" of the same file, as you've found. Dynamic View will show the date/time the attachment was added to help with this, so that your users can at least see which version is the newest.
