ADVICE ON A USE-CASE: REQUEST FOR PRICING, QUOTE, APPROVAL, PLACE PO, NOTIFY

We need a sheet or maybe Dashboard / Report / Sheets to accomplish this with our customers. It's a current process we do via email, and want to move it to within Smartsheet. Here are the steps, and am seeking advice on the best process:

  1. Via a Shared smartsheet (editor-can share, 3rd party outside of our organization), the customer will submit a Request for Pricing for a product we sell - ideally via a Form that submits data back to our Sheet. This is for a customer group with many locations. The quote requests / and subsequent orders will live on one sheet for all customers in that group.
  2. Via Smartsheet, but as an attachment, we will send a Quote as an attachment - this is a document from our separate Quoting software.
  3. Customer receives, reviews and sends approval back to the Smartsheet for us to order. We'll need a notification (which I know how to do)
  4. We then place the order and track it via smartsheet. Customer wants to have the ability to review the tracking status / order status at their convenience. I'm thinking Dashboard.

Other than pushing the form out, receiving the info back from the customer, all via smartsheet, is there possibly a better way?
