Workflow to copy a row from one sheet and paste special, links to copied cells

Looking for a method to use automation or a workflow to copy a row from one sheet and paste special, links to copied cells to a row in another sheet. 

Any suggestions appreciated.

However, I'm looking to automate the process to copy a row and paste special, links to copied cells into another sheet.

Does anyone know of a method to accomplish this with automation?

Does it have to be a link, or are you looking to pull info specific cell info from one sheet to the new sheet? If yes, you might be able to do it by formula rather than automation.

I am looking to automate the following scenario.

The Project Metadata sheet contains one row of information about one specific project. Each cell of the row is linked to other sheets used to track project progress.

The PMO Metadata sheet contains multiple rows of information about all projects. Each row is linked to a project’s respective Project Metadata row.  

Currently I manually copy the Project Metadata row and paste special, links to copied cells in the PMO Metadata sheet.  I would like to automate this step.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Premium app, Control Center
• Smartsheet API
• 3rd-party solution

Would any of those options work/help?
