Why doesn't the auto-populate work in all Dynamic Views?

Options

I have several Dynamic Views in WorkApps. On some of the dynamic views I can @mention someone in the comments and their name will auto-populate...

But on other dynamic views it do NOT auto-populate...

I can type the full email address to add the mention but I must know the full email address.

Both source sheets are shared with Editing rights.

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Colleen Houston

@mentioning is specific to sheets in the Smartsheet core application, which is why in Dynamic View the user needs to be shared to the underlying sheet in order to be @mentioned directly. Please add your vote and voice to this related Product Idea: Dynamic View Comments notifications for user without access to source sheet

I do see that you say the user is shared in both instances - in that case we would expect the name to appear when you type it. If you can replicate this with other emails as well, please capture a screen recording and submit this to Support, with the email addresses of the users you're trying to mention, and the links to the source sheets.

    Thanks,
    Genevieve
