Start date for alert - send on the last Wednesday of every month

Hello,

I need to send an alert out the last Wednesday of every month. This is the easy part because I use the 'repeat' and 'repeat on' selection in a custom recurrence.

My question is when to start: do I start on a last Wednesday? ie. start today 4/24?

Or is the start date irrelevant, because the automation knows it should run again on 5/29? And I could set the start date to any date?

In this case the start date is irrelevant, as the last Wednesday for this month was yesterday you can place any start date in there providing it is before the next date you would expect the notification to trigger.
