Adjusting a Gantt view time for half day
Good afternoon,
Is it possible through either setting a specific duration or formula to begin a task in the afternoon of a Monday and end at the end of day on Tuesday?
I am creating a high-level view of an upcoming store project where some tasks beginning in the PM and finish the following AM and other tasks that start in the PM and take the entirety of the next working day. I'm providing an example of what I'm talking about:
Is this possible in Smartsheet? I've played around with setting the duration to 1.5 days but that makes the task take up Monday and half of Tuesday instead of the opposite. I want to display the timescale in a Gantt view to an executive team.
Thanks for the help!

Hi @Brandon R
Yes, it is possible by using Predecessors setting for tasks. You can see the "Define Budget" task in row 17 has a predecessor task in row 15 and it will start with a lack of 0.5days after the task in row 15 finished.
You need to enable Dependencies in Project settings for this use case. Hope it works for you.
