Resource Management Panel Displaying Invalid Schedule: Need Help with Workload Tracking Issue

Hello,

I recently deleted a sheet that contained some scheduled assignments and resource allocations. Although the sheet is no longer valid or relevant, the schedule still appears in the resource management panel, and the system is not refreshing and updating it. I have tried resetting the system by turning off workload tracking and turning it back on, but it did not help. The issue is that I cannot turn off tracking in the deleted sheet because it no longer exists. I would appreciate your help in resolving this problem.

  • Hi @TitleVI2023

Before deleting the sheet, it would need to have "Turn off Workload Tracking" enabled to remove it from the schedule.

If it has been less than 30 days, you can recover the sheet to turn off the tracking and then delete it again. If you're unable to recover the sheet, then you will need to go to Resource Management, find the project, and delete the assignments manually from there.

    Cheers,

    Genevieve

  • Hi, this is not possible if you have only Enterprise subscription. I have completely erased the Worskspace and started a new one, and the old sheet keeps appearing whenever I generate a Workload schedule. Please help as I cannot continue my work.

  • Hi @Camilo V

If it has been less than 30 days:

    • Recover the sheet
    • Turn off workload tracking in that sheet
    • Delete it again

If the original owner of the sheet no longer has access to it in their deleted items folder, then you will need to reach out to Support to have them escalate your specific scenario to have this tracking removed.

    Cheers,
    Genevieve
