Workflow "Alert Someone" | Send to a contact in a cell
Hello Smartsheet Community,
I am trying to create a workflow in Smartsheet using "Alert Someone" that will notify the Manager and Employee (two separate cells) that the specific task has been completed.
Under "Alert someone" I choose "Send to contacts in a cell" however that cell is defaulted to "Created by"….
Questions: Is it possible to change this to any one or more cells other than "Created by"? Or are there any other ways around this?
Open to any ideas 💡

@Nicolas (Nic) Gonzalez When you select contact is a cell you can select from the various contact columns in your sheet. I'm assuming that your created By is the only contact column available; if you add others they'll be your options.

What if your column type is a column: Text/Number?
The column is a free form, therefore the person filling out the form would type their email address. Whatever is in this field, I want the workflow to send an email to this cell.
