Currently, when adding a hyperlink in an automated notification or alert, the only method available is to insert the full visible URL, like "http://salesforce.com"
. We need a feature that allows embedding the URL behind text, such as "Click here to go to Salesforce."
Additionally, hyperlinks included in automation messages are not directly clickable. Users must manually copy and paste them into their browser to access the link. We should implement a solution that makes any hyperlink, whether visible or text-embedded, immediately clickable upon receipt.
Thanks,
Marc
I use a lot of Hyperlinks in our Resolution Centre we developed in Smartsheet. This would be a great enhancement for us if this idea goes into development. Some of our hyperlinks are extremely long, being able to overtype with a sentence would look more professional and take up less space!
