Is there a way to lock a singular cell in a row with automation?

Hello,
My team uses Smartsheet to track requests to our team via a form. I was wondering if there was a way to use a workflow that, after a certain amount of time, it would lock a field on that row so that it can't be edited again? Is this something that's possible, or wait for a later update that includes this?

There is no way to lock an individual cell in Smartsheet.
You can lock either an entire row or an entire column.
Automations allow for an entire row to be locked.
