Combine data from smrtsheet EDW and sharepoint

I have set of smartsheets with fixed set of columns. I need to combine data from those sheets, EDW and sharepoint. Then create a template out of it. Is it possible to use power automate. Suggest some examples to start with and using connectors.

It sounds like you need a full integrated end-to-end solution, which Smartsheet can absolutely do in combination with a tool like Power Automate, but it's a little outside the scope of a community post.

You may want to contact your account rep and get Smartsheet's Pro Services on board to look at your needs and propose a solution. Of course, it's not free, but they will do a significant amount of legwork for you up front and they frankly are not expensive for what you get.

    Some quick suggestions though:

    • Decide where you want the data to ultimately land, and work back from there. Final destination and format will drive how you setup the initial data collection and will inform you on format and options
    • Think about how you want to identify your data, usually you need unique identifiers in all your data sources in order to be able to put that data together in the final destination. You can generate unique IDs in Smartsheet using the Autonumber system column alone or together with other columns to formula-drive an ID.
    • There's information on working with Power Automate and Smartsheet here
    • If you need to do a straight dump of the Smartsheet data to a file on a scheduled basis, check into Data Shuttle addon for Smartsheet, which can schedule and filter the data being exported. However, I'd expect Power Automate will probably just reach into Smartsheet via API to get the data directly. So, DS as a backup option to know about.
    • Smartsheet Bridge can also work with Sharepoint to support your integration and workflow, if needed to supplement Power Automate
    • Smartsheet API documentation is here if you need to get into specifics on the API calls
