HELP - Creating dependencies but using start-date instead of lag
I am building a plan with my stakeholders, we have a number of sprint-based tasks that have dependencies. It is very painful to constantly use the 'lag' function for all of these.
How can I:1. Link activities using dependencies so they can be visualised in the plan.
2. Allow me to put in a start-date for the successor activities (so that lag is auto-calculated).
When we have countless activities which are spread across a 3-6 month period in sprints, that are dependent on upfront activities, using the lag function is very painful and I'd like to manually put in the 'start date' for the successor activities, but still show the dependency between them.

It's one or the other, you can either have Predecessors in place to drive the start dates of dependent tasks, or you can manually set Start dates yourself, but you can't do both.
