Link to SharePoint folder

I wanted to include a link to a SharePoint folder in my WorkApp and also link to another folder on the cloud. Both do require a login, but despite being signed into the SharePoint via SSO, Smartsheet Workapp throws an error.

Is there a way to get around this?

Your System Admin has limited the type of information that can be shared within Smartsheet. You will need to contact them for more information.

Hi @Gopikrishna Mamidipudi,

System Admins on Enterprise plans are able to allow specific company domains as supported sources when adding web content. To do so, you’ll need to access the Domain Management page in the Admin Center.

Thank you for these links. This works if we know the owner of the domains. For example, our SharePoint folder has a URL:

my-org.sharepoint.com

And the other site that I'm trying to access is

my-org.vendorsite.com

So, in both these cases I'm unable to use the suggestions offered by you.

Is there a workaround in WorkApps, where I just create a hyperlink to the location and embed them in the App. It is okay for the links to open a separate Tab outside Smartsheet WorkApp.

Hi @Gopikrishna Mamidipudi,

How about creating a dashboard with a shortcut widget? You could add your links there, then add the dashboard to your WorkApp. You could also add any other useful information or links on the dashboard. Alternatively, you could create a sheet and list your hyperlinks in the sheet and add the sheet to the WorkApp.

Would that work?

Thank you. I will try the Dashboard route. That should work. It is just that, I might have to create 150 dashboards!!
