Hyperlink to Local Drive

Smartsheets is currently limited in its hyperlink functionality to URL or link with another smarsheet item.

It would be extremely useful & helpful to be able to Hyperlink to local drive. This shall enhance use of product and allow access to project documentation directly from the Dashboard/Sheet.

I would also like to see this. I am generating a report of all of our projects that would benefit from being able to click the link to go directly to the project folder on the local network.

This product enhancement would streamline our workflow. Currently we store a network location of a folder in Smartsheet as text and copy and paste into windows explorer.

Our company primarily uses a local drive that requires a VPN, so there's little interest in moving to cloud-based file storage. I was wondering if Smartsheet could support adding links to local files, drives, or file explorer paths, allowing us to open files directly from our computers. While I can manually copy and paste the path, it would be helpful if Smartsheet allowed us to create clickable links for easier access by the team.
