Updates to Okta SAML configuration, now generally available!

Hi Community,

Smartsheet has updated the Okta SAML configuration process to improve the scalability of our backend authentication architecture. With this change, SysAdmins setting up new Okta SAML configurations will need to manually enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL and Audience Restriction (Entity ID) fields. While this adds a few extra steps during setup, it enhances the scalability of our backend, ensuring better performance as the system grows.

To learn how to access and enter the ACS URL and Entity ID fields during the Okta SAML setup, please read this help article: Configure SAML for domain-level single sign-on to Smartsheet

This change applies to Enterprise plans in the Commercial US and Commercial EU instances of Smartsheet.
