An Automation is triggering two emails at the same time (This wasn't happening before)
Here, you can see an example of two emails triggered by the same automation but at different times. This was not happening before… It's been almost a year without this issue but last month I started receiving feedback from people using the my smartsheet that this was happening.
This is the automation workflow:
There's no chance that another column might be re-triggering the email, the reason why I assumed this is because on the conditions the request status when is "Submitted" This only happens once (this triggers the first email), there's no other option or possibility that a "change the cell" condition would change this cell or the "Shipping Method" won't also change anything that re-triggers this email.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out why a second email suddenly started triggering and how to fix it.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi @jorge.pacheco
It sounds like the automation is re-triggering when attachments are updated, not just added. To fix this, I would:Set the Trigger to “Attachment Added” Only – This should prevent the automation from running when attachments are just modified.
Add a Checkbox for “Email Sent” – Use a checkbox that gets marked after the first email is sent, and update your conditions to only send the email if the box is unchecked.
Check for Overlapping Automations – Make sure there aren’t any other automations that might be interfering and causing duplicates.
If you'd like help with this or anything else please feel free to reach out.
