Need 'Conversation' Widget for Dashboards

Typically, if a dashboard is displayed during meetings of any type, there is a need to capture a note or two regarding the content of the dashboard. It would be extremely valuable to have a widget where the conversation window could be included and notes taken directly on the dashboard. I have tried to add 'Notes' cells to my metric sheets, embed a Google doc, etc. in order to take temporary notes which can then be copy/pasted to the conversation window after the meeting but have had no luck.

Has anyone had success adding a notes feature to a dashboard? If so, how?

I always use a Rich Text Widget on the dashboard to take any notes that I need on the dashboard itself.

The other option is to have a form directly on the dashboard that could be submitted with the info you wish to display, have a checkbox on the sheet the form drops in to with the "Most Recent" checkbox column with the formula that checks the most recent submission, then have that come onto the dashboard via a report that uses the "Most Recent" column as a filter if you wanted to do it that way as well.

    Michelle:

For some reason, I could not get Rich Text Widget to work on the dashboard without putting the dashboard in edit mode first, which does not work for me. I did just get a blank Google Doc inserted as a Web Content Widget to work without having to put the dashboard in edit mode.

Unfortunately, I'll have to copy/paste the notes from this dashboard into the Conversations for memorializing. Although I overcame the note-taking part in the dashboard, the notes are not directly saved in the Conversations pane.
