More than two choices in approval workflow?

Hello! Is it possible to add more than two options (approved or declined) in an approvals workflow?

We are using approvals workflows to generate manager approvals for their team members to participate in a development event on company time. I'd like to offer three options: Approved; Declined, This Event Only; and Declined, Ongoing. (The thought being if they are going to be declined on an ongoing basis we can remove that person from invitation lists for a period of time to minimize disappoint if they get invited and then repeatedly declined)

Right now it seems like I can only have two choices - has anyone found a workaround for this? I'm trying to avoid an update request as I don't think it looks as nice as the approval workflow, so I'm hoping you may have some other ideas. :) Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately if you want to keep it as an "Approval" workflow - there are only 2 options. That is the way Smartsheet is hardcoded. The only other way to handle it if you want more than 2 options is the Update Request option. Alternatively, you can create a Dynamic View or Report that has what they are needing to Approve or Update and just send a notification with the link to said report/DV.
