Help with Dynamic View Logic

I am struggling with a certain part of my logic through Dynamic View. When I try to create a logic and am basing the logic on a prior approval, I am not getting a dropdown with the approval statuses. Everything that I have looked at, it is all set up correctly.

This is a field trip form and the approvals route: Secretary Approval, Principal Approval, Director Admin Approval, Director Approval, LC Admin Superintendent Approval and then finally LC Superintendent Approval. I can create logic for all of the approval steps except for the Director Admin role and the Director role. They do not have the approval statuses in the dropdown. All have the same types of approval statuses and this information is pulling from a report and everything is on there.

I hope you can understand what I am getting at. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you made sure those columns are set as dropdown type columns in the source sheet(s)?
