User Subscription Model and Dynamic View Permissions
Under the User Subscription Model, can internal collaborators designated as viewers (not members or guests), enter data into a dynamic view?
Our group is still on the Legacy Collaborator Model and uses dynamic view to collect data from internal collaborators that share the same domain as our group's plan. These internal collaborators are all on free Smartsheet accounts and our domain is shared because we are a University.
Upon our renewal next year, we are planning on moving to the User Subscription Model, where internal collaborators that share the same domain as our group's plan will need to have licensed accounts (member status) to have commenter+ (editor) permissions. I have been digging through the help files on Smartsheet and also this community, but I have not been able to find a black and white answer to this question.
To anyone that is on the User Subscription Model - can your internal collaborators on the same domain as your plan designated as viewers (not members or guests) submit data to an underlying sheet via dynamic view?

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
Dynamic View is separate, and no one needs a license to use it (except for the one configuring it).Make sense?
Does that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic day!

Thank you for the answer above. I understand that dynamic view is separate and established dynamic views can be shared with Smartsheet
My question is about how dynamic view permissions will change under the User Subscription Model. Under the USM internal users on free accounts (viewers) cannot edit sheets shared with them. If a "viewer" under the USM logs into Smartsheet to interact with a dynamic view shared with them, can they enter and submit data in the dynamic view? It doesn't specify at the link below or on any of the help pages related to dynamic view.

You're more than welcome!
I should have been more clear. I meant that it would be the same regardless of legacy or USM, and anyone, with or without a license, can edit and only need an account. It's an excellent workaround!
Make sense?

Thank you, Andree. Can you direct me to where this is documented in Smartsheet's official help pages? If our group is changing from legacy to USM, I need confirmation in writing from Smartsheet that unlicensed users will still be able to submit data to an underlying sheet via dynamic view.
