When working with dashboards, if you remove or change widgets, it can leave empty space between the widgets. To remove the empty space between widgets, you can use the "consolidate space" option under Edit. However, these just moves all the empty space to the bottom of the dashboard. So if you need to send the dashboard in a pdf to anyone, it can have multiple blank pages. If you only print to pdf the pages with content, then the page numbers show that you haven't sent all the pages, not knowing the remaining pages are blank.
The ask:
Make the "consolidate space" edit option remove the blank space at the end of the dashboard so when it's embedded or printed to pdf you don't have blank space or pages at the end.
It would also be nice if you could remove the extra lines on published reports.
If you save the dashboard after consolidating and then refresh your browser, this should remove all of the whitespace at the bottom. It has worked for me every time.
This doesn't work for me. When printing to pdf, I still get blank pages.
@mtp105 That's interesting. I've never had a problem with it. I wonder if maybe it is a browser specific thing then? I use Chrome.
