As it stands now, the multi-step process seems slightly inefficient and potentially confusing for both admins and users when inviting new users to access a Workapp. As it will not allow them to use the Workapp right away after being prompted to create a new account.
Here’s the approach I had in mind:
- Add the user’s email for access to the Workapp in the proper role.
- Mark “Notify newly added people” so that the email is automatically sent.
- The user would receive a consolidated email and notification prompting them to create a Smartsheet account, automatically granting them access to the WorkApp in their proper role so they can utilize it right away.
