Would be nice for more information to connect with RM such as status. They are 2 seperate systems at this point.

I created a test project "RM Status Test" and connected to RM.

Because Dashboard Graph widgets order categorical columns # to A to Z, I have to number my Status values.

In RM, I am able to see the Project Tasks grouped by Status column in the Worklist tab. Is this what you were looking for?

There is 1 advantage that I am obsessed with and that is the project Activity tab in RM. It provides a tiled audit trail in the format "Project Name: Task Status | Task Name" for change history and I can use the browser "Find on page" feature for quick searches. This is more convenient to review than accessing the underlying Project Activity Log where the filter functionality lacks metadata search capabilities.

I wish the project Activity tab in RM had a built-in search UI that is target focusable at the metadata level.

I would like an RM report that visualizes the volume of reassignments in a time series as I would want to uncover the underlying root cause event (i.e., Sick Time, Termination, etc.).

That is a nice workaround to the status section. However, it doesn't seem to update the allocations (ex. when a task is complete, or the dates are updated) . I hope that makes sense. When looking at employees or areas to see who has availability these tasts still show as not completed even though in project plans they are.

It is a limitation since Smartsheet does not recognize project plan tasks as completed on the reporting in RM.
