WorkApps (Dynamic View Link) Stopped Working

Hi All,

Any ideas what might be going on? I am on the phone on hold for support and may not be able to hang on long enough today to speak with a live person.

I created several pages in WorkApps for my boss and now several of them are not working.

This has happened to several pages in this WorkApps but not all of them. What can I do to resolve the issue? This particular one is a Dynamic View that is still active and working fine when I use the link just not in the WorkApps?

    This is very odd behaviour if only some of the sheets are not working and other do.

    I think also the WorkApps was down yesterday for a while at least because i just saw this post:

    Also as I wrote in the other post if something is not working properly first thing I do is to go to the status.smartsheet.com to check if any of the funcioality is down.

    Also I do not know if you are on Premium Support with smartsheet but I always prefer to have live Chat with the expert that is written instead of hanging on the phone and hoping it will not get disconnected :)

    Hi @Melanie Sanders,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We've determined that Dynamic Views not working in WorkApps was caused by a bug and our Product team has now released a fix for this issue - is the issue resolved for you now?

    I have numerous users reporting the dynamic view link within work apps is redirecting to a stale page. The timing seems to coincide with the bug reported above. I have a ticket open but getting the routine "are your browser versions up to date". I verified all 3 of my browsers are, but with so many users reporting the issue then seeing this slightly related issue. I think there is a correlation.

    Hi @Douglas F,

    If your issue is related to the bug I mentioned above, I’m pleased to say that this has been resolved! I have tested today and confirmed I was able to add a Dynamic View to a WorkApp without any issues. Please have your affected users try the following:

    • Try again today
    • Publish WorkApp changes and then load the WorkApp again before attempting to add the Dynamic View
    • Sign out and sign in again before adding the Dynamic View to the WorkApp

    If the issue is ongoing after taking these steps, the issue is unrelated to the bug, and you’ll need to continue working with Support.
