The smartsheet to copy rows to when setting up automation doesn't show up in search
I'm trying to set up an automation to copy rows of a smartsheet into another one with only one trigger and condition. I get to the end to select a smartsheet to copy the rows to and the smartsheet will not come up in the search. I'm set up as admin for both sheets and the new smartsheet I'm copying to was set up last week (about 3 days ago). I know sometimes it takes a while for the new smartsheet to show up in the search but I would think it should be there by now.

If you highlight all rows and then open the row menu, there should be an option to one time copy the rows to another sheet.

The owner of both sheets also needs to be shared to both sheets with at least Admin permissions in addition to you being at least Admin on both sheets.

I'm admin on both sheets. I also created the sheet I'm trying to copy the rows to so do I need to share the sheet I created with myself? TIA.

The owner of the source sheet needs to also be shared to the target sheet with at least Admin permissions as well.

I've shared the target sheet with the owner of the source sheet. I'm the admin for the source sheet and the owner for the target sheet. It still won't work. I try to search for the target sheet when setting up the automation and it doesn't show up.

Do any sheets at all show up? Have you tried searching for other sheets just to make sure?

I think I figured it out. It had to do with how the trigger was set up. I have another question. Is there a way to copy all the rows from one sheet to another sheet? I just need to copy the data from one sheet to another.

Just FYI for anyone else experiencing something similar. I have an error code when trying to find any sheet to copy or move to from the Automation. I've tried across all workspaces and the sharing permissions is not the issue. I put in a Smartsheet Support ticket, they initially said it could be related to the workflow issues last week but that's now resolved and I am still having the same issues. Something internal is going on with their engineering and needs looked at. If you're experiencing the same, please comment here, vote this up and also put in a ticket. This is holding many things up that I am trying to set up right now.
